Online Safety

News headlines these days inevitablyáinclude articles aboutáthe latest online security threat or a report informing the general public about an online safety issue affecting children whether it be sexting, fake FaceBook accounts, YouTube sites,áTwitter posts, inappropriate Snapchat photo sharing or the newest/latest online application. Twenty-first century parenting is demanding and requires concerted efforts from the school and home so that those entrusted with theásafety of children have access to the most up to date knowledge.áThe Stop. Think. Connect campaign sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security is an online safetyátool for parents and others entrusted with the care of children.
