News headlines these days inevitably include articles about the latest online security threat or a report informing the general public about an online safety issue affecting children whether it be sexting, fake FaceBook accounts, YouTube sites, Twitter posts, inappropriate Snapchat photo sharing or the newest/latest online application. Twenty-first century parenting is demanding and requires concerted efforts from the school and home so that those entrusted with the safety of children have access to the most up to date knowledge.
